Disc-Type Electric Motors Product Overview: Three-phase asynchronous disc brake motor is a new type of closed self-cooling motor. The machine has the characteristics of small volume, short axial dimension, large braking torque, rapid braking, accurate positioning, reliable operation and simple maintenance. Three-phase asynchronous disc brake motor is an ideal supporting equipment such as electric hoist, chain hoist, lifting trolley (using S4 duty motors above), open press, punch slider, hanging basket, machine tool adjustment, fan, reducer, printing machinery, woodworking machinery, mining machinery, general machinery, automatic packaging machinery (using S1 and S2 duty motors above). The three-phase asynchronous disc brake motor is different from the traditional squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motor in structure. Its stator and rotor are composed of two disc cores, and a disc brake device is attached to the rotor, which is compact in structure. This kind of motor has two types: with manual brake clutch and without manual brake clutch, which has the functions of quick start and instantaneous braking when power is cut off. This kind of motor adopts flange installation.
