Submersible motor underwater sealing and cooling system
Sealing structure type
Water filled type: The motor cavity is filled with clean water, and the stator winding is insulated with water-resistant wires (such as polyvinyl chloride or cross-linked polyethylene insulation), which are mechanically sealed to prevent external sewage from infiltrating.
Oil filled type: The inner cavity is filled with insulating oil, which uses oil pressure to balance the external water pressure and is suitable for water with sediment.
Dry type: The inner cavity is filled with air and the pressure is balanced through an air chamber or rubber pressure regulating bag, suitable for water quality cleaning scenarios.
Shielded type: The stator is enclosed by a stainless steel shielding sleeve and filled with solid filling material, suitable for highly corrosive environments.
Cooling mechanism
Water cooling is the main method: the water filled motor directly utilizes the surrounding water to dissipate heat; Dry type motors are cooled by external water cooling or forced air cooling (such as axial fans) through the casing to reduce temperature.
High voltage optimization: High voltage motors have higher electromagnetic loads, but underwater heat dissipation conditions are better than onshore motors, which can maintain higher efficiency (such as energy efficiency ≥ 85%).
